About The Kingdom Knowledge Foundation

The Kingdom Knowledge Foundation is comprised of both men and women who volunteer their time and talent to sustain programming activities in the Hilltop and surrounding areas. Some of the volunteers were raised (and some still live) on the Hilltop. We have watched the decline of our home neighborhood with trepidation.

The Foundation wishes to be drivers of and participants in the solutions. If we are to change the quality of life and address the social determinants within the community, the Foundation’s board and volunteers believe that we must start with the children and expand to address the family circle.

We must remove barriers to health care and wellness, academic resources, and access to needed information and assistance. We must be ready to serve when necessary.

Our mission

The founder, Regina R. Harper, grew up with a strong sense of community and the belief that everyone has a responsibility to help others. Her mother would always say, "To Whom Much is Given, Much is Required" and that quote was one of her guiding principles. To see others struggling to get the basic needs to survive and thrive compelled Regina to do something.

So, in 2010 the Kingdom Knowledge Foundation was started to address social issues such as poverty, homelessness and hunger. The Foundation sought to provide basic necessities to those in need of improving their quality of life. There was also a need within the community to promote education by providing school supplies, after school programs, and scholarships. Regina has been blessed her entire life - "To Whom Much is Given, Much is Required". It is a blessing to be a blessing to others.
